A few awards are getting deleted

I'll update it when I remove the specific ones, but if you see some of your awards gone it's because we'll be removing quite alot. We don't need tons of awards, and at the moment we have too many.

I want awards to be rare, something to earn and strive for on the forum.

False, the High Quality award is a very rare, prestigious award. Grammar Nazi is also very hard to get and is done by helping out with site grammar correction. Diamond is one of the hardest to get. (Must donate 100+ dollars) Youtube is for youtube advertisement videos for Market Forums. All of these awards you mentioned are valid reasons for awards.

I like the idea of changing them all to diamonds. I think that will cut down on some confusion, like you said. I'm assuming they will be different colors for different levels of donation?
