When I saw this website advertised, it was advertised as being another cool place for those of the Internet to come and chill. At no point was it advertised as being a gaming forum. I joined when it was somewhat young and I made quite a few high-quality posts. But now, I see that no one on thus forum actually cares about anything but video games and are willing to pay hundreds for a god-damned name on an online network, whether it be PSN or LIVE. What the fuck?!!

I've noticed that when I make thought-provoking threads here, no one cares. However, when I make threads of lesser value, people jump all over it. Convince me to stay. I really do want to.

Why not stay? I mean I am not going to convince you as its fully your choice. But, You should be too worried about what other people are wanting to purchase and what not. As you arnt interested in much of that than perhaps stick to a different section. The reason people buy gamertags is because they want to show off and get attention, And show off, and be noticed. There is no other reason. You should stick around, You are a cool guy and have posted very HQ threads. If you dont end up sticking around, Than it was great having you here while you where you have been a good member.
