5 tips to secure your PC against viruses and malware attacks.

This post is very helpful for people who have virus problems. I never heard of URLVoid. I always used VirusTotal but this website seems to be more faster.

URLVoid is a tool released by NoVirusThanks and it scans the site for viruses checking web reputation db and others.

Avast 6 comes with a pre-installed Sandbox

Not much of a Avast fan, I mean it's a good antivirus and all but I like Avira better because it has a MUCH faster detection rate.

I got Avira and when there's a problem on a website, Chrome notifies me of it. I also got a plug-in for Chrome that helps me with that.

Paid version of avira warns you about a site, not the free one. Avira's antivirus is just beast within a week of any virus being released avira detects it, hell sometimes it can even be days!!!

@NoFear: I also got Avira and it updates daily, works great and it keeps me notified when there are new updates / when the updates aren't installed properly. It's one of the best, maybe even the best virus scanner there is at the moment.

1) You do not have to download crap to get infected

5) Anti-Sandboxie!

1)Even viewing a website is downloading + how is the virus going to be transfered? Is it going to magically appear on your USB drive? It could but how did the virus get on the PC? THROUGH DOWNLOADING, derp!
2-3)Then you better have a good antivirus, P.S not all exploit kits infect 100%, I am in the hacking scene so I would know 10% infection rate is very high go on hacking forums and look. Oh and no java drivebys are not exploits they are a java app that downloads a file and then executes it, easy to do.
4) They have the highest detection rate, it's a fact Avira is the best out there.
5) Anti-Sandboxxie only closes the app, learn what you're talking about.
