Is a Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz good for a home desktop computer, not for heavy gaming at all just lots of basic tasks at once.

Yeah its pretty good for running basic things.
 
I suggest talking to Inxy, probably the most knowledgeable about computers on this forum.

Arch, cores, cache.


How many cores is it? I'm guessing dual core?

I'll just go ahead and say 3.20Ghz is fair for an average desktop PC.

Depends what you're doing and what you call average? If it's 3.2 single core. Will it support runescapeHD. Barely. Average for you is different compared to mine and Inxy's average for example.
