27 dead including 18 children at school shooting

It's actually very sad, On Friday our principle came on the intercom and told us, everybody just went completely silent in respect for those who lost their lives.

A little off-topic....I read that the police searched his brothers stuff, computers, phone records ect...Is it legal for them to do that? With no evidence, or permission from him?

They either had a warrant or reason to believe he was associated with the crime.

I read a 20 year old teacher, hid all the year 1's in a closest and waited for the gunman, and he asked where the kids were and she said in the gym, so he shot her and went to the gym but no1 was in there, she saved her full class, a true hero

Baseball bats are weapons so they are illegal in Poland.

That is all I have to say.

Edit:

Security should still be able to have a gun.

99.98% of public schools don't have security.

You aren't able to dispute the fact that a gun ban made gun based murder almost nonexistent in the UK.

Bullfucking shit, my middle school had 3 cops with 92fs Beretta's 9mm on the hip of each of them.

My high school also had a security team of 5 on golf carts, and 3 police officers with Glock 22 in .40S&W on each and a Winchester 1300 with a 18.5in barrel.

I take full advantage of my 2nd amendment right daily, I take notice to exact details of firearms because it's also a very important hobby of mine.

Trust me, if even one person is armed they can eliminate a threat like a gunman.

Infringing on the 2nd amendment is like punishing drunk drivers by making cars illegal.

Be consistent with your policing, you don't jail the mother and father of a serial killer because they bumped uglies and came out with a monster 9 months later.

The horrible irony of your magical "gun free zones" is that you effectively become the biggest target for gun violence and you are not only putting your life but every innocent life around you harms way by having the mindset of gun control.

There's a reason gun control in UK did not work, and why gun crime is up 600% since 1978.

I can't imagine what people have in their mind.. it's so awful to do such a thing.

@"Carbon"

Gun control does actually work in the UK, if someone is determined enough they will be able to get one. Tell me a country where that isn't true.

The difference in the UK is that guns are not easy at all to get.

In 2009, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, 66.9% of all homicides in the United States were perpetrated using a firearm.[4] There were 52,447 deliberate and 23,237 accidental non-fatal gunshot injuries in the United States during 2000.[5] The majority of gun-related deaths in the United States are suicides,[6] with 17,352 (55.6%) of the total 31,224 firearm-related deaths in 2007 due to suicide, while 12,632 (40.5%) were homicide deaths.[7]

Do the math, your country is fucked up and only nut jobs would like to live in a place like that.

@"Carbon" My school doesn't have a single security guard. Our security is the phone and the number 911. 99.8% of schools cannot afford to higher security guards.

Then enjoy being a target of gun violence, until you write your school board.

I could just move to Japan. There were a total of 10 murders with guns there last year.

The notion of Gun Control is like trying to win a war by saying "hey enemy, we are going to get rid of all of our weapons and we really hope you will too!"

You can go on FBI.gov and look at all the statistics for yourself. The majority of robbery isn't done with firearms. The majority of assault is not done with firearms.

35 people killed in the UK by firearms per year.

11,493 people killed in USA by firearms

United Kingdom: 62,262,000 population
United States: 314,953,000 population

The USA has over 5 times more people but your deaths from firearms not including people that survived is 328 times greater.

Please stop talking shit, the one language that never lies is mathematics.

You are right math never does lie. But it can be misinterpreted and manipulated.

In 2009 the crime rate in London was 111 per 1,000 residents.
In 2009 the crime rate in the US was 3,466 per 100,000 residents.

Now after doing some mathematics, we see that 111/1,000=0.111 is greater than 3,466/100,000=0.03466.

EDIT:

I just saw this and thought it was interesting...
Violent Crime Worse in Britain than in US

I would GLADLY allow the US crime rate to go up if the murder rate goes down. Most of those crimes are petty theft.

We wasn't talking about crime rates, I thought we was talking about deaths from guns????

And yes, the UK has some shitty places but that's what happens when you let millions of people immigrate.

The situation in USA is stressful if not planned well.
Stress can lead to loss of mind and doing shit.
Plus the fact of getting runs without license just gives you the right to practically shoot anyones balls off in the USA (due to the unstable mentality o the depressed person)
RIP to those who died.

Wow, definately ban guns.

The thing is if a person goes crazy and wants to start going on a rampage killing tons of people, it won't matter if he can get his hands on someone else's legally obtained gun or their own legally obtained gun (usually not the case).

I point you to the Oklahoma City Bombing on April 19, 1995. One person, Timothy McVeigh, detonated a truck bomb (ammonium nitrate and motor-racing fuel) in front of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City and killed 168 people and injured over 800. This was the deadliest act of terrorism within the United States at the time and it was done by an American therefore this was an act of domestic terrorism. This building had a daycare in it as well and 19 children were killed.
