Because they don't have enough money to spread negative media. It's not like we're just randomly going to know if this happens in Africaand noone will know unless it was a bombing in a major city or something along those lines .

They do publicize the problems they're having. It's just nobody in the countries that can help bother to care.

Yes. This is true. But it is never made as public as these events. If every event as bad as this was broadcasted the same way. The world might be a better place.
 
So sad. My prayers and condolences go out to all of the children and teachers that were killed, and their families and loved ones. This kind of thing should never happen.

I actually went to Kenya , Africa when I was 15. The city had skyscrapers and malls I almost forgot I was in Africa. So they have money and yet alone the World Cup that was just in Africa brought in a ton of money for them. Even how advanced the architecture was in the cities there was no TVs anywhere and I didn't see one TV when I was there, except at my dads house in the US Embassay . I did not see news channels or anything so I'm not sure they would waste money on media because noone has anything to watch it or read it.

You obviously went to the richer parts (or at least better off).

Every country will have areas where everything has been worked out, but areas in Africa are still seeing things much worse than what happened today. Though this is horrible, I still wish it wasn't just America that triggered these wide spread alerts.
 
No, I went to rural parts 90% of the time.Just the first day we were in the city. I was just proving the point that even the advanced parts of the cities are lacking technology.
