There was a post on the Runescape forums, where a Jagex mod claims that RS2006 will not last long. The typical greedy game designers strike again...but I'm still going to give this a shot!

Obviously they're going to do something about it, they're losing potential money and I would do the same thing.

Why don't you support rs2006 , rs's combat update will be original and lame

Sure I'd play rs2006, for about an hour. By then I'll realize it's the same fucking thing as rs, if I wanted to grind hours on end just to wear a damn d scim I'd be making a new account on rs. I don't play private servers to have the same feel as runescape when leveling, I play to get away from the realism of the game. Realism being no boosted exp rates, same drop rates (like 1:50 for a wooden shield @ goblins?)
