2 Laptops gone to shit

This crappy acer laptop is so f*cked up it's not funny. The hinges when shutting rely on cheap plastic, so everytime I open my laptop it pops up and half of the keyboard is pulled up. Not to mention the crappy processing speed since this was bought in November 2010 for around $1.3k. Then there's my crappy school mac which won't even open up Safari or anything. Well aint that fantastic.

I'm pretty much saving up $2.5k now to buy a Macbook Pro and a decent windows laptop.

FML.
 
Why a Macbook pro? Big waste of money imo, especially if you have gone through 2 laptops and you need one that works. I suggest looking into the HP pavillions, or a high end lenovo.
 
DO NOT buy a mac. Its overpriced shit that just needs you to buy different games/software for it thats like $30 more than PC software.

It's a 1,600$ laptop on the low end, sure it's a over-priced mac but it blows every other laptop I've used out of the water as long it's running Arch Linux.

@OT: If you want, buy a Macbook Air and install Windows or a Linux. Just like Carbon mentioned.
And why two laptops?
Just buy a good one with like 1TB and install 2 operating systems on it.
 
Definitely get a Mac man, it's the best laptop ever. And, you can always use Linux or Windows alongside the OSX if you want. :p It's all good.
 
Although I dislike macs, they are what you want for design n stuff. But if you are looking for windows, maybe for school or something, I'd recommend Asus or Lenovo.
 
Trust me TE. If you want a sturdy computer to meet all your gaming, networking, chatting needs, go with an HP or Toshiba laptop. If all you care about is looks, go with Macbook Pro or Macbook Air. Although, HPs look pretty sexy...

Honestly Ven0m read through the posts...it's only 1 page. He wants looks/designs or whatever you wanna call it, therefore he wants a mac like he said. HP's are horrible, I would never recommend one. Toshiba I could stand but still wouldn't recommend.
 
Why is everyone being biased? Macs are fine if your doing work or editing. Don't have to be such pricks about it.
 
^I'm not biased towards macs, I just don't like them since I have no talent for design and therefore I deem them worthless to myself. I believe they are the way to go for design and such if your planning on using it for that purpose.

I wasn't talking about you. You gave a non biased opinion. While members like Venom just gave a biased opinion about macs.

Like for example:

"overpriced shit"

Why not just dual boot Windows with mac laptop. Saves you a lot.

Mac's aren't shit, just overpriced, and I've got a HP laptop which works quite well.
So much nerd rage.
