Not effect the US? IT WAS MADE FOR THE US.

Honestly I'm happy I'm 18, I'm purchasing another shotgun and my savings on ammo.

They already openly breached the 6th, 5th and 4th amendments of the constitution they "oathed" to maintain hours into the 2012 year, how long before our 2nd and 1st amendments get stripped from us.

Explain? I'm behind. I don't have a clue what you are talking about.

NDAA = Law that just got passed the allows indefinite detention and execution of anyone deemed a (in exact words) "a terrorist" without trial this is a "worldwide" law, the US can now pick you up anywhere under the cover of night or early morning and kill you for "assumptions of terrorism"

So it's an extreme version of the Patriot Act, which is also stupid.

Great...

You're asking how giving unlimited power to a greedy government could be bad.

How is it greedy if its preventing terrorism? this has nothing to do with the average person.
99% of people won't even knew what this law thing is.

I really can't be bothered arguing about this, you'll just have to take my word on it.

Ask Carbon.

Lets say you give charity to a senator, who 5 years from now is framed and branded a "security threat" according to this law even if you are a born a raised Australian the US goverment can pluck you out of your bed and give you the lethal injection.

Without telling you what you did.

My first thought is that this is a good law, but then you can be a "terrorist" for many things other than blowing up buildings and killing people, you can be branded a terrorist for releasing data on why your goverment is corrupt, the hacking group anonymous are terrorists for what they have done, should people like this be killed? im not even going to point out how this can be abused.

I had respect for american but your really retarded letting a black cunt lead one of the most powerfull countrys at least the george bush had people assasinated secretly, in a few years there will be mass graves in new york lol. I bet this law was marketted as "This would of stopped the twin towers disarstar" and all the dumb rednecks voted for it.

Glad my country has no extradition treaty with the us.

well most "rednecks" are for smaller government hence the the civil war, but anyways read my post on the first page.

Protesting is considered a mild form of "terrorism" even though it is an amendment right.

Yeah, Google that shit.

The bill itself isn't evil, it could have good motives. But the fact is the people who uphold it aren't exactly perfect. So basically it will be abused, if they wanted they could track me down right now and kill me. That's a pretty dumb example but it's true. I'm an American citizen but they can simply take me out if they believe im a terrorist.

The problem is, many terrorists are American citizens. The law can protect us with the right people, but it can also be our doom. I think not having the law and simply breaking it when needed would be better. I think that because then the government must use it with more discretion and restraint.

Honestly I can't wait until Obama's gone...
