This week, our 2 important questsions of the week are the following:

  1. How does FK look without group colors?
  2. What's your reaction to Power+?
Question 1:
Recently, Philly has decided to remove all of the colors for every single user group. His intentions were to make the site look more organized, to make it look neater instead of the messy rainbow it was before.

Once Philly had removed the colors, a lot of us did agree to the forums looking more organized, visually.
Some of us are still unhappy with the results.

What's your opinion on this? Do you think the site looks better now? Do you still wish Forum Korner had it's rainbow?
Post your opinions below.

Question 2:
A brand new upgrade option was added this week, and another was removed.
Power+ is the name of this new upgrade.

The requirements are not exactly easy to reach. This group was made for those who have been known to contribute to Forum Korner, through donations and activity, and is supposed to be exclusive for members of high-quality. Read more about the group requirements here.

There are currently only 3 members in this group. GrƷƷd, Zeus, and Cannibal.
What do you think about this upgrade group? Do you like the idea, the advantages, the color & userbar?
Discuss this subject below.

This upgrade option has taken the place of 'Donator', and every member who was in the 'Donator' group was added to 'Onyx', free of charge. The 'Donator' award is still intact.

Newtown school gunman 'forced his way in'

The suspect, named in media reports as Adam Lanza, was not"voluntarily let in", said Lt Paul Vance.
He said police had found"very good evidence" which would help them establish a motive.
The only person hurt in the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School would be "instrumental" in the inquiry, he said.

Nelson Mandela undergoes operation to remove gallstones

South Africa's first black president, Nelson Mandela, has had an operation to remove gallstones, according to a government statement.
The operation was successful and Mr Mandelais recovering.
Mr Mandela, who is 94, was admitted to hospital last Saturday after suffering a recurrence of alung infection.
Tests revealed the presence of gallstones anddoctors treating Mr Mandela decided to remove them once he had recovered from the infection.
The statement said:"This morning, 15 December 2012, the former president underwent a procedure via endoscopy to have the gall stones removed. The procedure was successful and (Mr Mandela) is recovering."
A gallstone is an accumulation of crystals in the gall bladder. If left untreated, it can become life-threatening because ofthe risks of secondary infections such as pancreatitis.
Mr Mandela is regarded bymost South Africans as the father of the nation, having inspired them to fight for democracy.
He led the struggle against white-minority rule before being elected the first black president in 1994.
Despite being imprisoned for 27 years by the apartheid government, he forgave his former enemies and urged South Africans of all races to work together and seek reconciliation.
He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.

Egyptians vote in divisive referendum on constitution

People in Egypt are voting on a new constitution endorsed by the Islamist president, which has divided the country and sparked deadly unrest.
President Mohammed Morsiand his Muslim Brotherhood have campaigned heavily in favour of the draft document, which may define Egypt for years to come.
Opponents say it is poorly drafted and overly favours Islamists.
The opposition National Salvation Front coalition has accused the Muslim Brotherhood of trying to rig the vote.
However, the ballot, which is staggered over Saturday and a second day of voting in a week's time, appears to be going smoothly with indications ofa high turnout.

Russian opposition leaders arrested at anti-Putin rally

Russian police arrested prominent opposition leaders at a rally against President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
Blogger and activist Alexei Navalny said on Twitter he had been detained at the rally in Lubyanka Square, which was banned by the authorities.
Fellow opposition leaders Ilya Yashin, Ksenia Sobchak and Left Front head Sergei Udaltsov werealso arrested.
Police eventually broke up the rally, one of several nationwide that marked a year of protests against Mr Putin.
Mr Navalny later tweeted that he and the other opposition leaders had been released without charge.
In all, 40 people were arrested, police said.
Reports said police clearedthe square by moving protesters towards a nearby metro station.

Mr Navalny, who has beenone of the most vocal anti-Putin campaigners, tweeted: "This is the traditional and not very original tweet from the police detention van.
"It's raving mad. They snatched me out from the crowd."

Japan general election in finalday of campaigning

Candidates in the Japanese general election on Sunday have been making their final pleas for votes.
The Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) appears poisedto oust the Democratic Party (DPJ) after only three years in office, with former PM Shinzo Abe likely to return to the top job.
Mr Abe told voters outsideTokyo he would restore economic growth and restore pride in the country.
But many voters remain undecided, amid disillusionment in Japan over politics.
Keiko Seki was listening to Mr Abe's address in Wako, north of the capital, but was unconvinced: "I find this election very difficult to decide who to vote for,"she told the Associated Press.
Mr Abe has made the economy a central plank ofhis campaign, promising to boost public spending to end the 20-year slump.
But he has also promised amore assertive foreign policy at a time when tensions with China are running high.
"We want to restore a Japan where children are proud to have been born here," he told voters.
Nuclear debate
Mr Abe's centre-right LDP was swept from office by the DPJ in 2009, ending more than 50 years of almost unbroken rule.

This week a new song was released by Skylar Grey featuring famous, best selling artist, Eminem / EMINƎM. The song is called "C'mon Let me Ride" and was released on the YouTube channel SkylarGreyVEVO on December 11th, 2012 from her second studio album Don't Look Down (2013). As of now the song has 3,236,300 views, 35,398 likes, and 4,650 dislikes. The song basically stars Skylar Grey as the main character and stars Eminem talking in a funny voice along with some rapping. Skylar Grey stated that she's poking fun at widespread and excessive sexualization and she also told MTV, "The video is a combined effort between director Isaac Rentz, me and Eminem, and we just wanted to make sure it was very clear that it's a sarcastic song." She keeps saying she wants to ride "your junk" and "your bicycle". Also, many people and Eminem fans are really excited to see Eminem back lately in a song and even more, a video, as his activity in song singing and rapping has died slowly over the past years, since the start of his career in 1996 (year his first album, Infinite, was released).

I personally did not like the song, because in my opinion I feel that the song could have had a better meaning and tone and that it literally bored me. Although, as stated before I loved to see Eminem appear and him smiling during the video. I really expect better from Skylar Grey though in her next song, especially since she played a great role in I Need a Doctor, a song released abck in 2010, which was sung by Dr. Dre featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey.

If you want to be a good editor and chief do your research. Quad did like 10 editions before you, also your grammar is not as good LMAO.

RE: 16/12/12 FK News: #1

I didn't trash anything. All I did was say that you don't have good grammar. The edition was fine, I like what you're doing here. I just don't find your grammar very appealing.

I honestly don't care. What Quad did was different. This is our combined effort. We are fine as we are. I am pretty sure my grammar is better than your LQ Posts.

Stop trashing threads.

Thank You.

I love this article. Is this a weekly thing? To answer question 1:
I hate having no group colors. It's one of the most important features of a group. Sure it looks more organised but are we really going for such a formal site?

RE: 16/12/12 FK News: #1

This reads and looks so well, good job.

RE: 16/12/12 FK News: #1

How does FK look without group colors? It looks more organized but it takes the fun out of joining groups
