So everybody ready for wednesday, im so fucking ready its unbelieveable. I hope i can grab myself a two letter. Here is a list of what will be released.

  • Greatest inventions of all time
  • Animals
  • Maths & Numbers
  • Travel & Geography
  • Proper Names
  • Food
  • Science & Technology
Omg this is going to be intense, my bad if there is already a thread on this, i looked but didnt see one.

Also it states you can change it via xbox.com, windows 10 app and xbox one and I believe the xbox 360. So in other words you would have had to have one years consecutive xbox live gold without changing your first generated gamertag. So you still have the free gamertag chhange available, otherwse you will only be able to change it on the xbox one.
 
I hope you know that you must have gold membership on the account and the account must have at least a 1 year tenure on it? You won't be able to claim on fresh silvers.

@jaii is there a way to tell if the tag was from the original xbox? Or is it just simply looking for zero gamerscore etc........

It may be close if it's 1 mill but they listed specific tag genres.

correct again but like i said, 1 million tags in them genres. Math & Numbers must be like two character tags what do you think........?
 
Just to clarify, since I've changed my Gamertag already, does that mean I can't do it from the website and instead have to do it via Xbox One?

I know you didn't quote me here but I think they will. They'll probably come under the "Proper names" category since you could get your initials, for example, the user who made this thread "FR".
