Hello there,

I’ve always wondered what sources some of you guys have used for your Xbox gamer pictures. It’s hard to find what fits in that tiny 1080x1080 circular profile when ajority of images are square-based.

would anyone mind dropping some sources or good ways to search for profile pictures? I’m not really interested in a custom one since I don’t care to pay for something I don’t feel like I’ll end up keeping anyways.

funny story: recently I tried changing my gamer pic to a picture of uma Thurman doing a line from the movie “pulp fiction”... long story short Microsoft had suspended my gamer picture changing abilities for 48 hours less than 3 minutes after I changed it.

For my Xbox profile pictures, I always find one that has that checkerboard clear background. If it's a character you want it looks great because the character is the only thing shown along with your choice of background color. I use google and just type in clear background with whatever picture I want if this interests you.

This is pulled from the Xbox app so the profile picture does look a little blurry.

The only issue with the clear background images is when you look at your picture when you’re in a party, the “clear” background is blacked out. A buddy of mine has a clear background photo and it does this to his all the time and it pixelates the pic and it looks terrible imo.

Yes, that is the downside of having clear images. I think it looks clean when people view my profile which is the main reason I use them.

I don’t mind it taking up the whole frame personally. But I’m having issues finding worthy sources for pictures. I’m so indecisive.

Just look up 1080 x 1080 Xbox PFP, when you find one that looks similar to something you'd like; go to it's related images and find the one you'd like to use.

I used to just resize the ones I used, or just advanced searched on google.
