Wow I just don't see the value I would honestly say $25 at the most it's long and looks weird.

Yes you can change the cap but its a bit weird, I don't remember the method too well.

You can, there is a method on HF.
 
There's a tutorial around by the banned user Vortex in how to cap tubes, look it up. I'd also say this is worth about $15-20, maybe even $25.
 
I could see you getting around $30 for this channel.
