They can scam with it and keep taking it back with the og, but without it there would be scams also. But you could also more secure without the og pass.

I can start buying YouTubes with LR now. I use to get scammed way too much when people would recover.

The original password to the account, with it, you could take it back at any given time.

People could sell you a youtube account, but they could get it back after you've put 2 step on it and everything. The OG pass is the first ever password when youtube was bought by google in 05-06 I believe

I think people should have just closed the channel when they got it from the scammer if they didn't want it to happen to anyone else.
