Not awful, but its not great.

Proper color scheme + layer styles would help this banner a TON.

Looks really nice, although I'm not too sure on the colours. Also, idk if it's just me but the colours of the headline text appear to be a little flat, it might look better with a texture applied. Otherwise: 8/10.
