Your opinion on school?

Actually school is not that bad but the only bad thing about it is waking up early.
 
I dread our education system. It's ridiculous such a flawed system dictates our future. I wrote a sonnet precisely on this a while ago.

I recently escaped the delusion;
I realized the miscreation's ploy.
He cast a spell on me, an illusion.
He the headman, I a tinkertoy boy.
Nurture hampers the tinkertoys' brilliance.
We compete to see who is the best drone.
Effort reflected, not intelligence.
We are processed and sent to the workzone.
Life's essentials are neglected detail.
We know not how to love our heart's desire.
Worthwhiles howbeit beyond the pale.
We know not how to cede, we are haywire.
The monsterman wants to eat me tonight,
At the foot of my bed, unto twilight.
 


Agree with Cannibrul, there's a major flaw with the school system..
In my opinion I think it's a waste of time I would rather do home schooling but, you won't be socially active. And won't have friends in real life if you don't go to a Private, Public school
 
I think High School is a must. But I don't see why you need to go to college. You spend money on classes that will "help" you get the job. 75% of the time, you won't get the job you took classes for.
 
All I can say is I learn more out of school than in lol.
 
It's an easy time waster that's going to help get me a better job in the future.
 
Fuck school.
It's just a meeting place where you and your friends are forced to go to during the week.
I know more than half the things taught in school daily.
 
Fuck school it's a waste of time, they teach the same shit every year just more in depth as the years go. It takes nothing to be a teacher, in Michigan you can be caught drunk on the job up to three times before they can give you the boot. I'm smarter than half my teachers on subjects they are teaching. The no child left behind act is a fraud. The schools don't prepare yourfor the real world, I have so much more I could say but I'm ending it here.
 
Seriously though education in America is pretty ridiculous. Idk how you guys do it. My professors wife got her education there and shes has $250k worth of debt to pay off.

Unless you're some kind of genius and get a free ride American education is worthless. The average person just can't pay that off.
 

That's exactly why i'm not going to college, And i agree with the other post, you will most likely not get the job you took classes for.
 
I think the way public schools are going now, might as well home school. Studies have shown that kids who are home schooled out perform kids who go to public school on standardized test.
 
School isn't bad;however my school is. I'm a sophomore and if I can transfer to a different school I would. It's full of imbeciles, that carry weed,pocket knives, etc.. they can't even get kicked out for a handful of reasons. I don't even feel safe walking to and from school. Plus my social anxiety gets to me, which causes me to stutter. (but that last one is a me problem)
 
I don't mind going to school but it is so inefficient. I got in school suspension a while ago and when I was there I taught myself the lessons and got all of my work done in less than 2 hours each day. Just imagine how smart we would be if we actually worked efficiently at school every day.
