You could use Windows Live Essentials to download Windows Movie Maker (if you have vista or windows 7). If you'd like to just rip a youtube video and use it as your own, you could use a site similar to this:

Its fairly simple just look up some youtube tuts on how to pan/crop and a few other basic tuts ;d
