A middleman is someone who moderates a deal by taking both parties items, securing them, and giving them to the appropriate person. It's so no one has to go first and get scammed.

A Middleman is a trusted person that is the person that is in the "middle" of a trade. For example if you're trading with someone, I'll be the middleman and get both accounts, secure them, then send them out. Hope I answered your question.

A middleman is someone who receives both ends of the deal before the deal actually finishes.

EX: GT: Lol for GT: Brb (I own Lol and Durantula owns Brb)

I would send info to Lol to MM. Durantula would send info to Brb to MM.

The MM would secure both accounts, then you would finish the deal.

It is simply to ensure that nobody gets scammed.

A middle man (or woman) is a person who is in the middle of a trade.

For example, 2 brand new users on Forum Korner sign up and want to trade Skype accounts. None of them are trusted, so they would use a MM/MW. Person 1 would send his account info to the MM/MW. The MM would secure it. Person 2 would then send his account info to the MM/MW. Same thing, MM/MW would secure it. Then, when everything is secured, the middle man would give each person what they traded for (e.g. Person 1 gets the account he wanted, same with person 2.)

I may have made it sound complicated, but it's actually quite simple to understand.

Basically, they just make sure no one gets scammed in the end.
