You say, it is the botters that keep stuff regularly priced. Well ain't that some shit prayer bots were 8k before botters. Ranarrs were 15k before botters. All of the barrows armor was less than 5m and Guthans was 10m. Furies were 4m. Whips were 1.5m. Sharks were 1k each. Party hats were less than 200m each. Santas were less than 20m. Hween masks were less than 50m. Dragon bones were 1k-2k each. God armors were less than 2m. Tons of things were a lot cheaper or a lot more expensive then they were now, but that was fine because money went a lot further than it does now.
Before botters you could actually make money doing herblore. Before botters you could make a lot more money fishing. Before botters you could make a ton more woodcutting. Before botters you could make tons from combat drops. Before botters you could make a ton from mining. Before botters you could make a ton of money from pretty much anything. Before botters money went a lot further it had more value to it before RWT and botting.
Botting is now abused. People don't even play the game to have fun. People now abuse it so bad. People make about 50 accounts just to gold farm anything they can for money on their main, supplies for their main, and RWT. I remember it back in 2006 and 2007. It was a fun game. Now it is who can make the most money from botting so they can superpower their main from the legit players.
A 99 stat doesn't even mean anything anymore. Back in 06 and 07 people would follow you around if you had a skill cape asking for the emote. Look at how many people have a skill cape now. Tons.
The grand exchange and botters ruined Runescape. I'm not going to lie. It is alright if you want to do something repetitive without having to click so much. It is easier on me to do that because I have carpal tunnel syndrome and it makes it hard to keep clicking over and over and over.
Don't say botters are helping because they aren't. If you go to a spot to train or make money, then there are already a F*ck TON of bots there and you can't even get a stupid kill.
I'd like to clear it up. I don't care if legit players bot or not, but when you make extra accounts just to bot, then that fucks things up. What I mean by chillout is if botters botted on their main and not 24/7. Botting 24/7 causes UK kids, Aussie kids, African kids, Indian kids, American kids, and all other kids at the same time and it causes no room for anything. If botters just botted the times they normally play, then it would make a lot more room.
I could preach over and over, but honestly if all the botters and gold-farmers chilled out, then it would make Runescape a lot better place.

There is no before botters, we've always been around and we'll always be around. I'm assuming you mean before Jagex got fucked sideways with the masses of bots, well, if their punishment was applied people would not bot as much. If you can have JaGeX to start to care and to start to do mass bans people would stop, a lot would, but since a ton of legit players see bots go untouched, what do you think the legit players do?
