After a long evening sleep (From ~2pm-11pm) I woke up, completed my usual routine like it was morning, brushed my teeth, etc. I then proceed to lurk the interwebs for awhile.
The phone rings and I didn't feel like answering it, so I left it. My grandma woke up and answered it, she said it was for me. While going to get the phone, I wondered who'd be calling for someone like me at this time of night?
It was this girl who I liked, but eventually had to get over that and just accept our friendship as is. Now, usually people only contact me when they want something so I figured something was up. I was right in some sense but not particularly. We started off just talking casually due to her being 'bored' and just wanted to converse with people, so I stayed on the phone.
We talked just about everything for about 30 minutes or so, asked how my summer has been, the usual conversation fodder, then she changed the topic to about the time I liked her. She asked some questions, a few being personal, then asked about stuff that I said.
After what seemed like a trivial event, she asks one final question that I stalled on for about 40 minutes. She asked if I'd like to take things further between me and her. Now I pretty much was going to straight out say 'Yes' but I didn't feel like it seeing as I was second guessing myself, trying to think about as if this would work out or if it would just sever our friendship in the end.
So, I talked just about everything, changing the subject every now and then, trying to keep the conversation alive. I then asked her if she were to watch MLP like I do, what would her favorite pony be? She said Rarity, so I told her yes.
Now, we have a date. I just need to get some plans together, maybe just a trip to the park or something, I don't know. My choices are pretty limited.
