Xbox Question????

I was wondering if a person was following me on the xbox one and I decided to follow him back on the xbox one. Would he be able to see if im online, if i had my privacy setting where only my friends can only see me appear online.

Any of your followers can see your online status, regardless of whether you follow them back.

Yes that is correct because once your both following each other you then become friends its pretty dumb hope they update that shit soon lol

yes indeed, xbox is so confusing/complicated. They need to make it like the 360 dashboard.

Hopefully the new update that's suppose to come out this month fixes all this crap.

Let me address this for you

If somebody on Xbox LIVE is following you, they cannot see any of your information on your account if your privacy settings is set to "Friends-Only" so they are basically just looking at your account showing no info.

If you add that follower it is now considered a friend, but also a follower so they now have access to seeing your motto/bio/location and your online status, whatever you added on your account.

So to answer your question Yes they can see your online status.
