What do you guys think of the new kinect cam for the Xbox 360?

Are any of you thinking of getting this? as it does say "you are the controller"

Look on youtube for some more footage of the kinect in action.



As we are the controller so if we are tired then playing with it is useless
I prefer Normal controller, its fun sitting on sofa and play instead of standing.
What do you think?
 
Really I don't like it. It's like the Wii and is the same price as the Wii.
Why not get a Wii ?
I don't think it will work to in truth, as in, the game market won't broaden enough for it to have a large enough amount of games.
Gaming isn't ready for this step up yet. Not again after the Wii.
Gaming is still that teenager sitting in his/her room playing video games or with your mates playing it.
This trys and gets the family involved and that isn't what gaming is for me.

But I guess it's all personal opinion and it could be a huge success.

This kinect can be seen in malls or at gaming place outside
Majority of gamer will not prefer this to get
 
I don't like it. I like the Playstation Move better, IN MY OPINION.
I just don't want to be the controller, I want to be the one playing the controller.
 
There is a thred like this xD nvm, I think its fu, but it's needed to be updated, bcuz this one is a bit laggy
 
Its looks pretty bad, not really my thing. I thought it was really cool when it first came out, but it now just seems really lame.
 
Yea just see the other topic for FAIL videos of kinect. I wonder how to play gta 4 in this system...

Must be eating your words Campbell, wasn't this the fastest gaming related item sold or something? Either way it's a huge success. It's completely different to the Wii, whole body movements with no controllers. It can pick up your clothes your wearing and style the avatar just like you.

Quite impressive I think.
 
The kinect is amazing, There is nothing like it.

The wii is not anything like the kinect, full body 3D capture is nothing like the remotes and sensors.



@Crayo, it was one of the most sold Items for the 2010 Christmas season, and sold more than 50 Million+ so far.
