Does anyone know exactly what I need to be able to play my Xbox 360 in the car because I'm going on a long trip and I'd like to be able to play some in the back. Please don't go off topic.

Some cars have outlets. Without an outlet, no. You would also need a pretty small TV or computer screen, preferably flat.

We used to have an adapter that would let you plug the plug into one thing which connected that to a car charger or something like that. I'm not sure if they still have those, but if they do you'll probably need that.

I already have a built in 22 inch flat screen in the back and the thing where you plug in the 3 wires for the xbox, I just need a strong enough adapter because the one we have that is pretty old can't handle the Xbox for more than 10-15 minutes.

I bought an outlet adapter a few years back for my ps2 for like a bit over $100, regardless be careful when playing games, don't scratch em up, enjoy your trip man.

if you have a tv, all you need is a outlet that plugs in to the phone charger outlit. there are certain ones that can handle larger volts.

Outlet adapter, TV and your xbox.
You're going to need your games on demand. If you don't have them bought on the Xbox, they will scratch during the ride and break.

Oh yeah, but I won't be able to access Xbox Live so can I still access them?

as long as the games are licensed to your account/xbox then you should be abled to play them offline.
