I had a bit of fun one night, drinking and such and I got busted by the cops with drinks on me, me and my other friends are going back to see this dick named Mike, he is the Juvenile Intake Officer. Last time I saw him was because I took my dads car and got a blow job from a girl and got 7 months of fucking probation. Hes a dick!

Not that Mike :'( but seriously, he is probably going to send me away this time xD! So if I like, you know am not on for a month or two, you will know . But I am not going to the intake meeting for a while because this drinking thing just happened last night.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical university. Majoring in Air Traffic Management and minoring in unmanned aircraft systems and global intelligence and security.

Today was my last day of Winter Break. I have to return tomorrow. I don't necessarily mind. The only things I don't enjoy is the homework along with the dreadful grading system. Someone's grade does not reflect their intelligence, it reflects their effort, however, even then it's significantly inaccurate due to cheating and the principle that one size does not fit all. The current grading system should not dictate the rest of peoples' lives financially or in anyway due to it's grand inaccuracies. School is more about being preparedness for work and jobs than education and becoming intellectually literate. It valorizes the adequacy of the product, whereas, it hinders on the quality of the product to an extent. No wonder such intolerant, ignorant, unintelligent people run this country. The declaration that school chiefly orbits education is a misconception.
 


I agree with you on a minor level. Why would you get back into school on a Thursday though?
 
I go back Monday. I have to go take my ACT Saturday though. :/. It's snowing decently right now, so pray it gets delayed again.

I'm taking my SAT in March or May. GL man! I generally get 1800s so far on the SAT that are practice not the PSAT.
 

I can agree with you to an extent. My schools seem to be a bit different than what everyone else describes though. I haven't had homework since middle school. I learn things, but never what's intended. I learn on topic in math, that's about it. I have a couple decent teachers, then the rest are shit. I don't have any problems with school, and pass with A's in my sleep, but I feel I don't learn shit. I learn more between FK, YouTube, Google, and my own ridiculous thoughts than I do going to school for 8 hours a day.

Well -- what do you somewhat disagree with then?

It's because my school board is ran by fools. They could have simply deducted two extra days from Summer Break to make up for these two days, however, instead want us to hinder from family time and vacation, (which most families are already doing due to the holidays) and come to school in the middle of the week during winter. They somehow thought this was the best solution despite all opposing logic.

Your post seemed to completely disregard it's importance, although I may have misinterpreted it. I see where you're coming from, but knowledge isn't exactly important unless you're able to apply it. Schooling certainly helps in that category. If that makes any sense.
