I can't say I take the biggets interest in international relations and politics, or that I'm part of some radical student group to end violence and bring peace to all corners of the Earth, but what we have going on at the moment just seems like such a shame.
Ongoing protests in Egypt, the never-ending war in Afghanistan, revolt in Bahrain, and intense violence in Libya are just prime examples of the mess this world is in.
Each demonstration has its purpose and its underlying reasons, sure, but let's say that we overturn all the corrupt governments and regime, will it all end? Will we achieve world peace? Or will we simply find some other reason to cause unrest, to continue to destroy what was once a glorious planet, and to cause distress and disruption to so many people?
It's not that I feel emotional about any of this; I just think that it's one big crying shame that we're like this.
