Okay, so we all know about the claim Jagex has made today and it is stirring up a fuss in all the communities, so I have started this to help provide up-to-date information. I will try to be completely un-byist in my information but I will state I am a firm RsBuddy user. Please remember to check the comments as many members are also posting very useful information. Also remember, I am just like you, all I can do is wait and see.

Rsbuddy
Let's start with RSB. Rsbuddy is an injection client, but it uses some reflection as well. The developers have already stated that rsbuddy will not be harmed by this and the small part of their code that does use reflection will be converted and written in asm.
All this information is up to date and verified by RSB staff.

New update, not verified by staff at RSB but seems to be logically correct, read it here.

New update #2, by Kiko creator of the popular IDung, read it here.

Powerbot
Powerbot, like rsbuddy uses both reflection and injection. At this time I have no verified information from staff.

NeXus
Yes, let's get to the highest paid, most used bots. NeXus is and always has been reflection, that have always claimed they are superior by using reflection and not injection. I have not checked all the NeXus forums for a Developer speaking on the matter. However I checked two and came to the conclusion that they are not authorized to release anything at this time and that they are waiting on Impsoft(owner of the NeXus software) to deal with the problem before passing on the information to individual developers/sites.

Fagex claims to take down Injection methods aswell so yea =) All bots will go down if its not a bluff

From an inside source at RSB(not sure if it's completely true but its via private messages and a staff member) they believe they claim it will also attack injection because currently there is no botting client that runs purely on injection, which is why rsb will be converting to asm, hoping this is true myself.

RSbuddy said they will switch to asm to combat the Reflection patch
Jagex also said in another post they are taking down Injection
ASM uses injection also =P

With all due respect, you're forgetting one key factor; a certified Jagex employee could easily access the bot software unbeknownst to the owner of the site regardless of their T&C's about no Jagex employees and whatnot.
I believe that Jagex knows how all of the mainstream bots work inside and out by now. They are not stupid as they may have us believe...

I will be trying to still gather information, sorry I can just put out the bot develops side, and I am well aware Jagex isn't stupid, fact is they are probably more intelligent then all the bot developers combined. Anwyay, just update the thread, please read this.

Tbh I'm starting to think its all just a huge publicity act and the will probably just make a small change that disables bots for a day or two

Very plausible, I feel they are pretty ballsy to make all the claims they are making without anything to back it up though,

Ya and they know A LOT of the money from membership from bots and goldfarmers, they would lose such an incredible amount of money if they really did ban all bots

Which is why they are not banning the accounts, just simply trying to counter-act bots. They knew just as well as us that they will never stop botting, but they can take bots down for a week or two legitfags would be happy and kiss their ass, while bots will stay paying because in 2 weeks there bots will be fixed.

Exactly why I think its a publicity act :)

Temporarily, but they'll never eradicate botting from Runescape. It's almost impossible to stay one step ahead of the bot programmers.

We'll just have to wait and see.

If they do end up taking down 98% of bots (as they said), I'll be glad to start playing legit again.

Well anyone who uses RiD will still be able to bot. However, i too believe it will be interesting to see what Nexus does to counter this reflection update,

I think botting will continue one way or another. Botting coders and Jagex coders are probably at the same skill level.
