Why the people are so selfish and greedy?

I came across most of the people who are greedy and selfish only. Despite having sufficient wealth and material possessions, they are running over more money and more possessions. We have seen that the people like warren buffet sharing their wealth with the people. I feel that if all those rich people share their wealth with the poor people, we can have the countries with out poverty. What do you say?

That's true but who do you think would give their wealth away just like that. Selfishness and greediness are on one hand and not only you, nobody like it. But there is no free food or water in this world, especially to those who does nothing and hopes their luck or something like God will do for them !

YES, you are saying right, today people will being become selfish, i saw many of my friends when i need those in some work then they will not talk to me and run away......
really today's generation is not great.

That is correct,people becoming more and more selfish and greedy ,everyone want's to become rich and in number one position..By reaching that position only one realize- nothing is everlasting..

The way time is changing, people are changing as well. You know, now a days, we don't just look at how a person is, we just go for the wealth that person has got. That is why you see every one competing for money, and saving more and more, in order to sustain status in the society, or to have a greater status. This wasn't happening in the past. Long ago people would just care for the humanity, not just the money and wealth.

The simple fact is that we human beings are cannibals (for money off course). An we never seem to have enough. So, there is greed.
