Dollar is a monetary unit or a currency used in countries like the United States and Canada, as well as in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Ecuador among others.

But in the U.S., the Dollar is often associated with the word "bucks" which really fascinates me because all I know about the latter is that it is I think a sort of a Moose or an antelope with big, tortuous, branchy horns over its head. An NBA team Milwaukee Bucks is an example, you can see it on their logo.

Now, I really can't imagine how they are being correlated to each other. How do you think it started? their etymology, etc..

In your own standpoint and without googling or yahooing it, Why do you think it is?

Please share fellas..
Have a god day and God Bless!

Everybody speaks about dollars and think of possessing it the rest is secondery

This never crossed my mind. In India, we use the term 'bucks' for our currency (rupees) too, guess its the same with many countries now. Maybe 'buck' meant coin or something in olden times?

This is a term used in many places mostly the USA. Its called bucks because early citizens invented that word and it caught on. If you want more information just google it.
