Why I did not get a X1 / PS4?

I told everyone this time last year that Steam was rumored to be releasing a console. There have been a few articles on the console all ready but this is where I put my email to be notified of the preorder eligibility

Isn't this supposed to be really expensive? It does seem insane, although I don't think it will top Xbox or PlayStation just yet, due to its lack of features.

The SteamBox is just a PC, running Valve's OS, that comes with a controller. You might as well buy a PC instead. You could build a much better PC for cheaper than the price of the SteamBox.

Ya this isn't impressive yet, but fuck after this one, can you Imagine what sick shit they will do with it to compete with Xbox and PS?? This is a trial and error product more then anything to ne honest, still though it will be sick with out a doubt
