Why haven't we gone back to the moon?

because we found what was there, nothing, and we have probes now, we don't send people into space until we find something through a probe, but the can also take samples so humans most likely wont go back into space until we go to inhabit another planet.

we know what's there, no reason to go back. it's dangerous too. AND it's hella expensive.

I agree with most posters. We collected enough samples in '72, and also we have a lot more technology that might make a trip to the moon redundant.

its just one big floating Rock. whats the point in going up there?

So many theories about the moon we will never know when they will go, but I am sure that some time in our life they will visit again.

We never went in the first place, call me every name under the sun but we dont have the technology today to send astronauts into Space safely, only a few years ago 5-6 people died after a space craft burst into flames.

Now someone explain to me how we sent people up there, landed on the moon and got them back safely in the 60's when we are still finding it hard to send people up safely today? It just doesnt add up. All you have to do is look at technology in the 60's to think 'How the fook?!'

Not to mention the video's were support wires can be seen and other weird things such as fallen over astronauts being flipped up by thin air.

Just my opinion.
