Why does everyone want need a partner?

Is it literally just to leach of the other person or does it actually bring in more profits..?

When I used to do this I did it 100% solo and made bank.

splitting 50/50 and then having to trust the other guy is not worth it.
 
Two minds are better than one, so I would think it would be better to have partner(s).

What ven0m said and its a lot more fun to do with other people.
 
From what ive seen, its been all beginners or people with no idea that want to partner up.
