Why 120?

I never found out why Jagex allowed dungeoneering to go up to 120. Does anyone know?
 
No, I mean, why does jagex allow it to go up to 120? Why not stop at 99, like everything else?
 
Cause most of them were max combat level that made a goal to max it out.
I actually have a feeling Jagex will increase the overall level cap one day.
But then it makes me think they'd need an expansion but can't really do so.
Unless you'd have to do a one time payment to unlock it towards your account.
 

Expansions aren't impossible at this point. I mean, I would think that it'd work like F2P2P works. Some areas and things are locked to F2P, once you pay, BAM, everything is unlocked. I'd actually like to see an expansion type-thing added with more skills and level caps increased. Would add a whole new side to bots
 
I don't think they should allow an expansion. I mean, 200m xp is a hard level to reach, and until even the top players are striving for that, there will be no need for an expansion.

They don't want people to reach them without a GOOD effort involved.

Kind of like 99s in the beginning, seeing skill capes were like woah you've got that.
Now they're like, I've got X amount.
 
All skills will get extended to 120 eventually.
 
Well that sucks :/ What about the people with 99? Will the skillcapes be taken away?
 
when I was coding dungeoneering im like hey lets make it to 120 for 200m dung exp

if u dont like it pm me ill put ur idea into consideration
 
Using the algo to get xp to level, 120 is most likely one of the highest without ending upon 200M.

To lazy to check though.
