I have a list of phones that are in my budget. Which should I choose?
-LG G2
-Samsung Galaxy S5
-Google Nexus 5
-Sony Xperia Z1
-Sony Xperia Z1 Compact
-HTC One (M7)

I would chose the Samsung Galaxy S5
 
Looks like the GS5 is winning.... It looks ugly though.
 
The S5 is my favorite, just because of the feel, and the smoothness.
 
Google Nexus 5, I've heard good reviews about it.
 
If you have sufficient funds for the S5, go for it.

If you're willing to wait, wait for the iPhone 6.
 
In my opinion I wouldn't go with either of them I would go I with the nexus 5 which has similar or better specs than the phones you listed above for about half the price

Wow.. Google Nexus 5 means Nexus 5... It's already on the list...

OT: I'm thinking of getting a Lumia 1020.
