Which is worse, failing or never trying?

Never trying, there's really no comparison.

Failure isn't a negative thing, it's a learning experience. Not trying is just for those who don't step up to the challenge.
 
Not trying is the worst. When you fail it makes you learn from experience and do better next time until you finally achieve what you wanted.
 
Never trying is worse than failing. Because if you never try you will never succeed.
 
In my honest opinion I believe never trying it worse than failing. When you fail you can learn from your mistakes.
 
In my opinion never trying is worst because if you fail you learn from your mistakes, and if you never try you don't know what you're actually capable of doing
