i think this is one of the questions that most of us still searching for an answer. i heard a silly answer from a friend of mine, just wanna share it..my friend says egg came first, why? simply because the creator created adam ahead of eve...haha..silly answer right? hope you get the point.

I think god made eggs and that is how chickens were made. Ok this is a really confusing question to which I haven't found an answer as of yet.

I would say it the chicken. Chicken will lay eggs and hatch them.

Eggs cannot hatch without the hen sitting over it to make it hatch. Only nowadays that chicken don't need to sit over their eggs in order to hatch because we have now hatchery plants were eggs are hatch by batch.

But since you ask what came first, and there's no way that there are hatchery plants in the ancient times, chicken have came first.
