Whats with all the dickriding?

Seriously, I have no problem with seeing people give the respect.

but when there is constant threads about people asskissing which in my eyes, if they weren't staff/mod, no one would dickride them, this happens on most forums.

I'm not sure if these people just want rep and only care about rep, or it's in their nature to suck up.


I'm not mad or anything, just wanted to EXPRESS my opinion, but i don't see any threads about normal members, or general RG elites.
 
Lol I agree, I love techno and all (mike) and I respect him, but I'd NEVER make a thread about it, true respect is respect you have for someone because you RESPECT THEM not because they can give you a reward for butt kissing.

And blatant butt-kissing really ticks me off.
 
People want to show their kindness and respect, to the people that deserve it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so this is mine & don't hate. It could be about reputation, but if it was, in my eyes that would be stupid, to other people they really care about reputation.

OR, It could have been because they have done something for the person, which leads to saying thanks, and saying what type of member they are. Following reasons, in my opinion on why people do it:
  • Respect
  • Reputation
  • Kindness
  • Someone doing something for them, which results in a thanks.

If you don't want to see this stuff, put the person on your ignore list, that way you don't have to see constant threads saying thank you, by them. Or, you could just ignore it, like most members do here.
 

But SOME people do it for no reason, and no one else has made a thread about this because they don't want to be hated on lol

You report like every single post and warn people about stuff a mod is suppose to be doing this thread is about dickriding and your posting about respect and all that good stuff if you have respect for someone cool but there a thing line between respect and riding someone like a horse

All Day Win, He may seem like he's being a jock-rider but really he's just trying to be high quality. Even though it may be annoying, we have to get used to it. It's the way he is and I doubt he'll change over a few mishaps on a forum.
 

So, you're hating because I'm helping rid the forum of non-sense. Also, you're trying to say I can't be high-quality. Some member you are.
 

No sense in arguing, your both high quality members in different ways. Leave it at that. This thread should be closed for going off-topic soon anyways.
 
I'm not hating on you being hq and things like that is the way you try to act like a super mod think of it like a mall cop or secirty acting like a real cop and taking his or her job to serious

imo, people see the management/super mods/mods as a "leader" and respect them and attempt to "noticed."
