I was just strolling, I remember once seeing some Tennis girl that had 400 followers and was verified. I used to believe you had to have a certain amount of followers to get 'verified' I thought around 100,000+ but after getting the hang of twitter I realized simply, you just need to be some form of Icon or have some sort of link to do with TV/Entertainment.
