I know C++, C#, VB6, .Net and a little python. Out of all of them , I know C# and C++ the best.
The most I've coded at once for a single project was during my first year at college during Software engineering class. Couple thousand lines of C++ code would probably be the most. And it was a simple project too.
A programming language can't be easier, I think. It depends on the person. Ruby was my first programming language, so it was difficult learning at first, but I've learned to love it.
