Hey guys so I've been seeing a lot of threads about school lock downs and shit but I'm not in school this week cause of vacation. So I wanted to know why so many schools are on lock down? Since Im not in school I dont know whats happening. Is it every school or just ones with shooting threats? Please inform me. That would be greatly appreciated.

There's been lots of school threats so lockdowns are happening. Also since tomorrow is 12/21/12 schools are preparing for the worse of the nut jobs.
 
This is why there needs to be officers in every school, and armed.
 
I have to try to convince my parents to let me know go tomorrow. Fuck I'm shitting.

I don't think it matters. Schools in general just need more security, they're becoming more and more less safe it seems like.
 
All of this happened because last Friday i man killed 20 kids and 7 adults in a school shooting so everyone is taking precautions so it dosnt happen again
 
Well if your in high school there is a resource officer which is a cop. But still its not that safe. I know kids who bring knives to school. But I mean how would the officers know that? They cant.. Thats why there are so many things happening in schools. Theres going to have to be metal detectors in schools know but I know that wont happen.
 
A metal detector wouldn't work. Every person that walked through would set it off. I think the next step would be body scanners but I don't see that happening.

Yeah that would be impossible. That would never happen in schools.. like never.
 
Why the fuck would you want metal detectors? If kids want to bring any guns/knives into school they will. Not that hard to get around them.
 
I didn't have school Thursday or Friday because of a Blizzard in Iowa.

This is just happening because of people making threats.
