what will you do if your bestfriend say bad words about you behind your back?

sometimes there are certain situation that your bestfriend will do it to you. Like today my bestfriend say something bad that i dont knw, and i found out it when one of our friend told me about that and at first i didn't believe it, but its true and i heard it from him, how about you what will you do?
!
 
Caught him first on the act or ask a valuable source that is close friend of that person and confront him if that things he said is pertaining to you. If he asks for forgiveness well forgive him but if he done it again, well it's up to you.

If I got to know that she or he said something bad about me behind my back, I'll definetly ask her or him why u said like that.. sometimes people do misunderstand what we are saying and what we are doing.. if its like that if its mistake by my friend i'll try to explain it and continue friendship with her or him.. but if she or he purposly did that i wont continue friendship with her or him..
 

Well having a best friend like that is not appropriate because you too have been together for so long and at the end of the road he or she will just stab you on the back. I hope that they will realize the good side of being a brother or sister to each other.


Yep well better to confront him or her for that issue because sometimes people around you say bad things and they just want your friendship to end because they are jealous.
 
Well that's rather sad. But I don't think I have experienced that or my friend is doing to me. Well if that happened to me, I would surely be hurt. I think I will confront my friend and ask her why she doesn't just say it in my face. As I would accept any brutal words towards me as long as it is true. I would even have thanked her because it is an opportunity for me to change. I will ask her to just say what she needs to say to me rather than to other people because that sucks.
 

well, for me never trust him again shes not worthy to be your friend and if ever try to avoid him since you had know his background that he's not a good friend to you.next time when youre making friends better know him first before you trust because as of now its very rare to find a true friend.
 

If i am to be honest here, of course i'd do the same thing to him. lol! Come on, we're only humans. We get upset and even mad when people do such things to us especially if we have not done anything wrong to that person. But of course, the right thing to do is to confront him. Ask him why he did that.
 
talk to her!real friends wont do such things,true friend will always tell you the truth and never say anything bad about each other.

it all dipends every relationship people say stuff behind there backs just dipends on if he was messing on with his friends or joking around but if he ment it then tell him to stop it as it hurts you if he doent then he musent love you like he is saying
 
My bestfriend will never do that. What's the use of the word 'best friend' if he/she will just ruin your relationship. But if ever, he does it... I will talk to him straight about it.
 
Of course i will be upset and feel hurt when a best friend will backstab me.
We always count our bestfriend as one of the most important person in our life,so if ever he/she will say something bad about us,we will surely be hurt.
I will talk with her and asks her about the matter and i will try to settle things in a peaceful manner.
 
I will confirm my friend fist if its true or what,then if she tell me that is true i will ask her,my you need to talk to me at the back,can we discuss it what is the problem.
but of course we can't please all the people to to that.
some are saying that your best friend is your best enemy also.
 

Stop considering and treating the person as your best friend as the person is really not. Your weakness will be revealed if you confide with your best friend your personal stuff, therefore be cautious when revealing things to another person. There is no one you can trust but yourself.
 
if you prove that he/she really done that. talk to her/him in softest way. ask why she/he do that to well in fact you did nothing to her/him. try to resolve the problem in softest way. hope my advice will you both.
 
If she is really my bestfriend, I don't think she should say bad words behind my back. I think she should tell straight to my face what is her issue against me so we could work things out. I think If my friend will do that to me, there is no other recourse for me but to confront her regarding the issue. I'll give her the chance to explain, and then I will start from there as to what should I do next.
