for me, it's just a matter of time, do you think they will do anything?

They'll do jack.

85% of users have botted at one point, good fight their whole market.

If they manage to ban ALL bots, theyll be the poorest company out. They rely on botters to pay for their electricity bills.

meh itd be interesting to see what the game would turn out to be

An empty game wouldn't be fun for anyone.. at least people don't feel lonely if they have a bot or seventeen with them.

I'd be awesome if they did ban all bots, or reset every account.

Interesting to think about.

They'll probably work on removing the bots in the Free Worlds - but if members are paying for it then I doubt you'll see a change. Probably less than 1% would ever been worked on.

But then again, I don't agree with botting - it just takes away the feeling of Acomplishment - the main reason why I don't (and never have) botted.

But nice question to ask.

Bots makes life easier for the players and makes wallets bigger for jagex

Okay, I can agree with Relapse on that - although, have you seen the price of flax?
It jumped from like 59 to 103... not good for those who are wanting to buy the flax and spin it ^_^ Less profits.

But great for those who want to make money.

Great for the people who want flax to spin it to go and bot flax -_-

Macroing has been around since the beginning of RuneScape time. I remember using simple click-recorders, and I remember using AutoRune. I've always macro'd, and if I continue to play, I will continue to macro.

Jagex likes to pretend like they can and/or will do something significant to those who macro. However, other than bans and temporarily killing bots, there is nothing they can do.
