What did you want to become when you were young? Doctor, lawyer, policeman, fireman, nurse, scientist, musician, artist.....Did you manage to make your dream become true?
I would like to become a scientist when I was young. I wanted to focus on research in the medical field after SARS had happened because I realised that scientists are the people supporting the new technology and techniques to the doctors so as to find new ways to cure the disease and help the patients to have better quality of life. I have picked up biomedical science as my degree at Imperial College in the UK. I hope I can become an outstanding scientists focusing on medical area. However, my mum always think that I am thinking too much and is thinking of something quite impossible and would like me to enter the business field or becoming a pharmist instead which I hate a lot. Did you experience the same with me when your parents did not quite support with your dream?
