Orginally I started out as an obby mauler. I just got his attack to 44 (via quests+training). What type of pure should I make? I have enough money to fund if anything. I was thinking of a DClaws Rusher as I can afford the claws and they seem mildly fun, as I haven't PKed ever since 2006.

^ Agreed with the fellows above me. Go Hybrid for best results.
 
What stats exactly should I achieve for a Hybrid? I already have 60 range, I forgot to mention.
 
Make it 60 attack (do the quests first) and 99 str, keep 1 def.Use sw, you'll be around 70 cb. Level prayer with quests, getting it upto 31 eventually.
 
Become a rusher, just to make the people of the wilderness hate you.
 
Hybrid is ftw, but I'd go DClaw Rusher then if it don't suit you then change?
 
Gmaul. I've always loved gmaul pures, the gmaul spec is much more satisfying then the d claw spec imho.
