What pajamas did men sleep in during the middle ages?

This may sound like a random question, but just wondering, what pajamas did guys/men sleep in during the ancient times, like in Rome and Greece? I thought they slept in like tunics, but I read that men used to sleep naked until advances in textiles lead to the creation of pajamas, underwear etc in 19th century, but not sure how accurate this is...
