Doubt that.

I downloaded a book for HTML, I've never scripted much before fairly new to it, the closest I got to scripting was when I was playing Runescape my clan had mIRC, and I was thought how to make a bot, but this was like 2005? I don't remember anything hopefully I get some skills soon enough lol Should I start with HTML or do you guys recommend Java for a beginner?

Java is a fairly simple language to learn to be honest and you shouldnt have much difficulty picking it up

Then again, you're taking it at a university level!

Yer but its really easy. The Applet side of things is a little harder.
Ive made a bunch of tutorials for anyone to follow along with.

You have a knack for Java mate, I can't seem to stay motivated with it.

Just so much crap you need even to print hello world to the screen.

Want to make a box that allows you to click okay? Have fun with 50 lines of code.

Charles turned me on to C++ and C, in addition to Python and jQuery which I am also learning.

Oh and PHP which I am intermediate at.

Every programming language will start with the mighty Hello World

I'm just starting to learn Python. I'll probably move onto Java afterwards.

This thread is referring to coding languages, not regular languages.

OT: HTML and CSS are my favorite because it's simple and those are the only 2 I understand currently.
