Yup, I agree with you. Smokers and non-smokers alike should be polite because, after all, we are all human.
Ugh! I can't believe all the 'smoking is not good for your health' and 'you should never smoke' comments. Please people, there are so many things that are bad for the health that smoking is not such a big deal. If you make the choice not to smoke, don't preach to everyone else not to. Like I said, people smoke for their own personal reasons just like those who drink, eat too much and become overweight, do drugs, or waste food/energy/etc. Everything can become bad and harmful to others if you practice it improperly. Even if the physical effects aren't harmful to others, if you die, your family and friends will suffer.
Why can't people just worry about their own lives and not intrude so much into others'? As long as smokers are respectful and considerate, I don't see a problem. You can be a non-smoker and die at a young age from many other ways so death is not even an issue here. You die when you're meant to die.
