I was doing some introspection tonight and looked back at all of my posts and threads from RuneGear until I was merged here, I was looking at older posts from FK and threads and it's been quite a nostalgic journey for me!
At those moments, I asked myself: What have I actually gained, mentally and physically here? What have I learned? Have I contributed to FK in any way? Did I actually learn anything here? Did I become a better person because of FK?
It's just, when you spend so much time on a forum it kind of becomes a part of your life, a daily routine to check!
This community has given me absolutely everything and I have given all I can back. I've learned so much and gained extreme amounts of knowledge from you guys! From debating to dealing, it's been such a good journey so far. I've learned about social mediums, emotional support, middle-manning, computer protection and security and also grammar/punctuation!
I was an illiterate son of a bitch when I was first here but besides that, you guys have helped me immensely and I thank you for that.
I've realised one thing after spending a lot of time here. We're all a bunch of intelligent users! Financially, physically, socially and more! We're achieved so much! Some of you guys are the smartest people I've met in my entire life. It's unparalleled and phenomenal!
I feel really happy when people come to me for help, middle-manning or just a chat! I feel like I've grown a part of this community and stuff. It's a routine for me to check up on you guys daily to be honest. If for one day I don't go on FK I just don't feel right. It's not an obsession or anything, it's just.. Hmm.. You guys are like my second family! I am proud to have thousands of members behind me and you guys should feel like that too.
I had no goals or intentions when I was merged here, I was meant to leave instantly! It was just about the most stupidest decision I could've made! I did always follow rules and contributed in any minuscule way I could.
