What happen to Kasteen as Mod?

I'm just curious to know what happen to Kasteen as a moderator of FK as I saw he was demoted or he may have retired but as far as I know this is very recent.

he was very inactive , i think he was demoted.

He resigned I think, plus he was just way too inactive to be a mod. I personally like him and think he's is a kind individual.
