My country is known for it's famous native delicacies esp rice cakes and other native dishes made from glutinous rice.
Some dishes also known from each town, provinces depending on it's climate and native people's taste.
Some are really tasty that you will long more from every bite.

Adobo (Philippines)
-it can be sweet, sour, or salty
-main ingredient is the meat or it can also be chicken meat, soy sauce, a bit sugar, vinegar, laurel leaves, and sometimes with Pineapple and Potatoes, or any other, and also onions and garlic, sometimes ginger.
-just put all the ingredients in a caserole, add a little amount of water, then cook until its boiling, it'll take atleast 20mins to cook, i guess but it's better to let it boil for about an hour.

its so delicious and I so love it.

Philippine Cuisine is famous because of ADOBO. =) Taste is great combination of sour, piquant and sweet. it could be a Chicken adobo or pork adobo or a mix of two. Ingredients and how I make it? For now it will be a secret. hahaha because were planning to rise a resto soon.

Yeah! and I think because it's very simple to cook.

But please don't forget about "Sinigang". It's also famous in the Philippines. I'm not sure if everybody likes it because it's sour but it's famous. All you need is meat, an instant sinigang mix, and whatever veggies you want to add.
