Just make it a group focused on interaction between it's members. Form Skype chats, AIM chats, Team Speak servers, and anything else that may connect the group members. Then recruit members who will actively take part in these discussion areas and contribute smart and entertaining thoughts and ideas. From here partnerships, projects, and ideas for the group will spring, ideas and projects that the members will actually want to move forward with. The first step to creating a successful group is a strong sense of community, something that is currently lacking in Supreme (and many other groups I'd imagine).
